## Selected projects

- Storage platform on Kubernetes and Ceph (Public sector · since 2022): Architecture, PoCs, build and operation of a scalable platform with Talos, Rook and Argo CD, implemented to the BSI IT-Grundschutz standard. Outcome: Fully automated with GitOps: the whole environment builds itself, zero touch.
- Virtual desktops for 1,000 users (Finance · 2019 to 2021): Implemented a complete Horizon environment with Cloud Pod Architecture across two data centres, with App Volumes and Dynamic Environment Manager. Outcome: Migrated nearly 900 decentralised desktops to the new central environment.
- Stabilising vSAN and Horizon (Leasing · 2021 to 2024): Ran an ageing VDI environment on a vSAN stretched cluster with more than 20 hosts, worked through faults with VMware Support and reinstalled every host. Outcome: Acute incidents fixed, a looming total outage averted.
